Looking back,... After 2 years their $83,000 condo has been paid down by them (and the tenant of course) by some 12% and the property itself has appreciated in the market place by roughly 10%. The result ,... if we were to put that same unit back on the maket today they would gross approximately $25,000 pre tax,... Not bad for an initial 5% investment over the last 2 years in this investment climate.
So the next time your Investment Advisor calls for your R.R.S.P contribution perhaps consider a condo investment as a better alterantive
